This is Adobe Creek. In 1982, it had a dry stream bed, littered with trash and denuded of vegetation. Starting in 1984, the
United Anglers of Casa Grande High School adopted the creek, cleaned it up, and planted trees among other native vegetation
to keep the water cool. Now Steelhead Trout run in the creek again. The students of United Anglers have won national
recognition for the creek restoration.
