STATION 10 - ANIMALS
When the water dries up, parts of the pond turn to muddy clay, and animal tracks can be seen. The most common animals
(excluding birds and insects) are Pocket Gophers, Black-tailed Jackrabbits, voles, shrews, mice, raccoon, and Red Fox.
In the side channels, there are muskrat and the native Western Pond Turtle.
